For Porsche 911 models 1978-83 using a 123 distributor.
Direct replacement for factory parts, but improved performance.
Use this set with factory spec* solid core shielded ignition wires.

Partsklassik CDI Box 6 pin, New
   - Our true 450 Volt digital CDI in a new, US-made aluminum case
   - Won’t lose power as RPMs increase
   - Rev limit switch with multiple settings (default setting is no limit)
   - Built-in protection from bad trigger signals, other external threats
   - Removes EMI noise vehicle may introduce to the trigger signal

CDI Ignition Coil by Partsklassik, with Bracket
   - Factory-correct transformer coil for all Porsche CDI systems

5K Resistor for Cap to Coil Wire
   - Essential if replacement rotor on distributor is < 5K ohms*
      (123 rotors usually have 5K. If so, keep resistor as backup)

High quality decals are included for coil and CDI box.


*Replacement distributor rotors (even "OEM") often have insufficient resistance for Porsche CDI systems. Check your rotor’s resistance, and if it’s only 0-1.5K ohms instead of the factory 5K ohms, then install the 5K resistor on your cap to coil wire. 6-Pin CDI systems also require solid core wires with 3k ohms resistance on each plug connector and 1K on each cap connector.  Failure to maintain these values will void this set’s warranty.  See our Technical Service Bulletin for additional information.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a distributor spring, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
