Product Description:

911 SC Distributor Rebuild Kit, Without Cap / Rotor
Kit for rebuilding your Porsche 911 SC Distributor, including Bosch units 0.237.306.001, 0.237.303.003, 0.237.304.016, 0.237.301.007, or 0.237.301.009.

We offer this kit without a cap or rotor in the event that you already have those parts, or if you prefer to source your own. PLEASE NOTE that the rotors commonly available for the 911SC today are actually the 3.2L Carrera rotors, and those 3.2L rotors DO NOT have the 5K ohm resistance required for the CDI system.  If your rotor is only 1K ohms or zero resistance, pick up one of our 5K ohm resistors for the cap to coil wire, part number 122.035.281.5.

If your distributor cap’s hold-down clips have seen better days or have gone missing, we have new ones available.  Please see part number 901.602.965.00. We also carry new drive gears and the impulse generator windings.

This kit is meant for the professional rebuilder with skill and understanding of the distributor function. Bushings will need to be reamed to fit. Having a distributor machine to run up the distributor before installation is a must. Improperly rebuilt distributors can cause engine damage.

Distributor rebuild instructions and/or diagrams are not included. If you feel you need instructions or lack the necessary tools, please send your distributor in to us for a restoration service.

We do not offer partial kits, but we do have many individual parts for the Bosch and Marelli distributors used on Porsche models.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
