911 Distributor Rebuild Kit
Excludes cap and rotor.

Due to the high and escalating cost of caps & rotors, we offer this kit without cap or rotor. This lets you choose your own brand of cap and rotor, or use ones that you already have.

For 1972-73 911 T, E, or S distributors in the Bosch 0231.169 range.
Will also work with the 2.7L RS with 169 series distributors.

Kit contains weight washers, various size shims to get the up-down play to .01 to .05 mm, a brass top shim, new advance primary and secondary springs, a new gear pin and O-ring. Also includes fresh hardware, points and felt dot.

New cap hold-down clips for this distributor are available; please see part number 901.602.965.00. We carry replacement pinion gears as well.

This kit is meant for the professional with skill and understanding of the distributor function. Having a distributor machine to run up the distributor before installation is a must. Distributors that are improperly rebuilt and set up can cause damage to your engine. 

Distributor rebuild instructions and/or diagrams are not included. If you feel you need instructions or lack the necessary tools, please send your distributor in to us for a restoration service.

We do not offer partial kits, but we do have many individual parts for Bosch and Marelli distributors used on Porsche models.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a distributor spring, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
