Rotor for Marelli Distributors with Resistor
1965 to 1971 Porsche 911 with S112AX and S112BX distributors.

We have had this rotor produced in original Bakelite and we’ve added the resistor to correct the resistance for the CDI ignition system. The rotor itself has no resistance, and the CDI system requires 5K on the coil side.  The small inline resistor will go on the center post of the cap to coil wire. It has a screw-on connection for your existing solid core wire. We have another listing for this rotor without the resistor.

We have chosen to eliminate the problematic speed limiting function on the original rotor and supply this rotor NON LIMITING. The rotor comes with the two cheese head screws and washers for installation.

Performance

Direct replacement & happy that it no longer has the RPM limit cut-out feature. It was a bit tricky to get the silicone/rubberised resistor housing to fit over my 8mm Magnacore coil wire.

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
