Coil Wire with 5K Connector
This wire plugs into the coil and the center post on your distributor cap. A 5K-ohm connector is attached to add resistance to your ignition system if needed.  

Cars with CDI require 5k-ohms resistance on the distributor rotor.  However, some replacement rotors sold today lack the necessary resistance, so this wire will ensure you have enough. Twin plug distributor rotors almost always lack sufficient resistance for CDI, but this can be true for single-plug rotors as well.

This coil wire can be ordered in a custom length up to 20".  Please indicate desired length in the "Order Notes" toward the bottom of the shopping cart page.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
