Chain Tensioner Holding tool
This small but essential tool holds the compressed chain tensioner while it is being installed.

Before an overhauled chain adjuster is installed, the adjuster piston must be moved to bottom dead center. Clamp the chain adjuster into a vice so that as the jaws are slowly closed the piston is pressed down to the lower limit of its travel. If the piston is moved too fast, the rubber seal rings will be damaged and the oil in the chamber will escape. In this position, pre-load the piston with P214 tool and install the chain adjuster. After installing, check valve timing as usual and adjust if needed.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
