Product Description:
Bosch WR6DC spark plug
Bosch Discontinued the original W6DC spark plug in 10/2007. Bosch has replaced almost all of their copper electrode spark plugs with resistor style plugs like this one. Resistor style spark plugs are required when using DME (digital Fuel injection), because the electrical impulses from the ignition system can and will interfere with the sensors used on most electronically fuel injected engines.
We don’t recommend resistor style spark plugs with a CDI system. Our research has shown that to get the most from your CDI, you should maintain the factory specified resistance values on the plug wire connectors, rotor, and cap to coil wire.
The WR6DC plug is appropriate for high compression electronically fuel injected engines running a TCI or other type of inductive ignition system, where you require a spark plug with a "6" heat range.
Spark Plug should be gapped before installation at .7 mm (.027")
