Distributor Rebuild Kit, 930 3.3L

The above distributors are for 1978-94 Porsche 930 / 911 Turbo models with 3.3 liter engines. Please check the Bosch number on the housing of your distributor to confirm the Bosch model.

Includes bushings, shims, seals, gear pin, advance springs, hardware, e-clips, felt dot, cap, rotor, and a 5K resistor for the cap to coil wire. Current replacement rotors lack the factory-spec 5K resistance needed for CDI-equipped cars, and that includes the rotor in this kit. Therefore, the included 5K resistor should be installed on the cap-to-coil wire.

We have new cap hold-down clips available if yours are missing or have seen better days; please see part number 930.602.965.00. We also carry replacement drive gears and impulse generator windings.

This kit is designed to be installed by a professional mechanic who also has access to a distributor machine to set the mechanical advance curve. The bushings supplied with this kit will also need to be reamed to suit the distributor shaft.  It is possible to cause severe damage to the ignition distributor and the engine itself if this kit is incorrectly installed.

Distributor rebuild instructions and/or diagrams are not included. If you feel you need instructions or lack the necessary tools, please send your distributor in to us for a restoration service.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
