For the 1972-73 2.4L 911T, Bosch used 3 different distributors:

0231.169.003 (9/71 to 6/72)
0231.169.008 (7/72 to 4/73)
0231.184.002 (5/73 to 8/73)
All are interchangeable with each other.

When you send your ignition distributor to us, it will be completely disassembled, media blasted, and polished. All new bushings, sliding surface, and shim kit are installed along with a new spring package. The restoration also includes a new cap, rotor, points, condenser, and shaft seal. Your rebuilt unit is tested on a Sun distributor machine, and the distributor arrives ready to install and set timing.

NOTE: The vacuum advance unit is not included in the restoration service. You will be contacted if there is a problem with your advance. Not all cores are rebuildable. Damaged cores may require machining and/or parts replacement not included in this service; if that is the case we will contact you.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
