This is a restoration service for your ignition distributor, Bosch® part number 0.231.159.002, used on Porsche® 911S models.

Your ignition distributor will be completely disassembled, media blasted and polished. All new bushings, sliding surface, and shim kit are installed, along with a new spring package. This restoration also includes a new cap, rotor, points, condenser, and shaft seal. The distributor is rebuilt to factory specifications. Testing is performed on our Sun tester, and the actual results and curves are recorded and included. Your restored unit is ready to install and set timing upon arrival. 

If you would like new cap hold-down clips, please add two of part number 901.602.965.00 to your order. We also have new drive gears available if needed.

This is a thorough restoration that takes about 4-5 weeks on average. Actual turnaround times vary with shop workload and the condition of the distributor‘s parts. Distributors with a high degree of damage or with missing parts may not be rebuildable, or may require additional labor and parts beyond the scope of this service. If that is the case, we will contact you.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
