Distributor Rebuild Kit
Build kit for Bosch distributor number 0231 159 006. This distributor model was factory installed on Porsche 911E models from 1969-71.

This kit includes cap, rotor, points, bushings, shims, seals, springs, pin for drive gear, plus hardware. The rotor will be 6500 rpm unless and until the 7100 rotors become available again.

We also have new cap clips available; please see part number 901.602.965.00. Drive gears are available as well.

This kit is meant for the professional builder with the tools and skills to install the bushings, ream them to fit the shaft, and who has a distributor machine for final setup after rebuilding. Failure to set up the distributor correctly may result in severe damage to the distributor and/or engine.

Distributor rebuild instructions and/or diagrams are not included. If you feel you need instructions or lack the necessary tools, please send your distributor in to us for a restoration service.

We do not offer partial kits, but we do have many individual parts for Bosch and Marelli distributors used on Porsche models.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
