Fuel Accumulator
Bosch model 0 438 170 015 fuel accumulator, used on Porsche 911 models up to 1976. Check your Bosch number and compare your accumulator with the photo prior to ordering.

Fuel accumulators are designed to hold residual pressure in the fuel injection system so that the engine will start correctly on a hot re-start.

The way to test a fuel accumulator is by using a fuel pressure gauge and watching the fuel pressure after the engine is turned off. If the fuel pressure drops away immediately then it is most likely the accumulator.

There are two types of accumulators available for the early CIS model 911's. This one does NOT have a drain fitting on the bottom of the Accumulator. The other version has the drain. Be sure to check before ordering.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
