Porsche Engine Restoration Services
Partsklassik evaluates every engine we service; from the intake to the exhaust system, and from camshaft to crankshaft. Too often we see an engine that has been overhauled, yet the intake system leaks air, the distributor springs are worn and the curve is wrong, and the engine tin is missing or not fitted correctly. Though the machine work and tolerances in the engine itself may be good, the motor will not perform at its optimal level.
Partsklassik engine restoration ensures every component is cleaned, measured, and inspected before being machined, repaired, or replaced. From here we can estimate the true time and cost of the restoration before we proceed with any repairs. With all of our restorations, the goal is to return a product that looks and feels like it just left the factory.
Every engine is test run and checked for leaks, ignition timing adjusted and advance curves checked, fuel mixtures are set, and carburetors balanced. The engine is then given its first service, which includes heads re-tensioned, valves adjusted and all fluids drained, before being crate ready for shipment. When you receive your engine it is ready to install and run with only minor adjustments.
When sending your engine to Partsklassik, we request that you send your CDI box to ensure the engine is tested using all the components that it will use in your vehicle. Our approach at Partsklassik is to evaluate the complete engine system, not just a long block.
General pricing is available on request, but until the unit can be inspected and all parts required are located, it is impossible to give an accurate price. please call us at (888) 255-0695 [Toll Free US only], +1 (928) 255-2824, email us at info@partsklassik.com or fill out our quick contact form for more information including shipping and packaging help.
