Are you looking for:
Exchange Your Rocker Arm Assembly - Exhaust Short (send cores first) Send your Short Exhaust Rocker Arm and Shaft for Exchange
This is an exchange; Core must be received first.

Rocker arm tips are surfaced and rocker bores are bored .10 mm oversize. Rocker shafts are surface ground then hard chrome plated and finished by centerless grinding to match the oversize rocker bore. These parts are sold as a kit and on an exchange basis; please send us your components first.

Sometimes, not all parts can be re-built. The most common issue is that the rocker shafts can crack. If this is the case, we will provide shaft cores for an additional $25.00 each if available.

These parts fit 356 B/C/SC and 912 models using aluminum rocker stands. This assembly does not include valve adjusting post or lock nut.

Please Note: the center aluminum stand for the intake rockers will need to be reamed to 16.05mm to accommodate the increased shaft size.

Preparation and shipment:
Send us the arms and shafts only, no hardware please!
Remove spacers / collars from shafts, and store them.
Remove the screws and nuts from each arm, and store them also.
If these parts are not removed, extra labor charges will apply.

Send just the loose arms and shafts to us at:

Restoration of Your Ignition Distributor, 930 3.3L "004" / "005" Restoration Service for YOUR Ignition Distributor
No exchanges available at this time, please send in yours to be restored.

This is a restoration service for your Bosch distributor model 0237.301.004 or .005. This distributor was used on the Porsche 930 Turbo 3.3L models from 1978-82. To confirm this distributor is correct for your vehicle, verify engine codes 930/61 or 930/62.

Your distributor will be completely disassembled, media blasted, and polished. All new bushings and shim kit are installed, along with a new spring package, rotor, cap, hardware, and seals. We rebuild the distributor to factory specifications and test it on a Sun distributor machine. You will receive a paper copy of the test results and curves. We also include a free download of our TSB for Porsche CDI ignition systems.

If you would also like new cap hold-down clips, please add two of our large-sized clips, part number 930.602.965.00. We also carry replacement drive gears and impulse generator windings if needed.

Note:
This price does not include the vacuum can. We will contact you to discuss options if your vacuum can is not functional. Not all cores are rebuildable. Damaged cores may require machining and/or parts that are not included in this service; we will contact you if that is the case.

We will need your distributor for approximately 3-5 weeks. Turnaround times will vary depending on workload and condition of all components. Please send your well packed distributor, with your online order number on the the outside of the box, to:

Programmable Distributor for Carb Conversions, Low Compression

New Programmable 123 Ignition Distributor
Delivered with starting curve for a 911 converted to carbs.
For 1972-77 low compression engines, below 9.5 : 1.
Programming adjustments will likely be required.
Professional installation and programming recommended.
Never attempt to use this distributor on a 930 / Turbo engine!

Run a new distributor on your classic Porsche!  This distributor has the design character of the original, but with modern electronics. The 123 distributors have been around for over a decade, but they were challenging to set up properly for the 911. We offer this pre-programmed unit to make the job a little easier.

Comes pre-loaded with our exclusive starting curve for 911 low compression engines (1972-77) that have been converted from MFI / CIS to carbs. This starting curve was developed and tested by a Porsche-trained mechanic, engine builder, and ignition specialist with 34 years of experience.

WARNING:  The pre-installed program is a safe starting point, but it is the installer's responsibility to adjust the program to the requirements of the carbureted engine. This is not a task for everyone; a qualified, insured mechanic should be employed to accomplish this. Incorrect setup, installation, or timing can result in severe damage to the engine and distributor.

An Apple or Android App allows for wireless adjustment of the ignition curve and provides an electronic dashboard. Range is 500-8K engine RPM.  Key features include rev-counter, anti-theft PIN code, real time tuning, vacuum advance, boost retard, and soft rev limiter.

For CDI cars 1972-74:
Use with “3 Pin CDI Wiring Harness, Early for Pertronix or 123.”

For CDI cars 1975-77:
Use with “3 Pin CDI Wiring Harness, Late for Pertronix or 123.”

As with all electrical products, this item is non-returnable except for manufacturer pre-approved warranty returns. Arrangements for repairs or warranty service must be made directly with the manufacturer.
