Product Description:

Oil Pump Exchange
High Volume Rebuilt Oil Pump, 1975-77
Magnesium Body, 4 Rib

Exchange your original oil pump for our rebuilt high volume unit. Please send your matching core to us first. We require about a week to get a 4 rib core inspected before we ship.

This rebuilt pump has had a complete housing polish and throating operation which significantly increase the flow rates, so much so that the oil system in the case will have to be modified to prevent the case filling with too much oil. For details of the required case modification, please email us or speak to the machine shop doing the case machine work.

The pump housings are also machined to close the end clearances to correct for normal wear and tear. Gears are cleaned, media tumbled, inspected and replaced if required, then are coated to improve the running life of the gear.

Not all cores are rebuildable.  If your pump is damaged beyond repair, it cannot be accepted for exchange.

Although these pumps are used in 1975-77 model engines, we have also found them installed in some 1978 3.0L 911SC model engines. This is not a problem of function or fit. However, please make sure yours matches the picture above before you order, as we need a like-for-like core.

Send your core to:

Manufacturer Information:

GT Series 1 has been rebuilding, porting and polishing 911 oil pumps since 1981. Their pumps have seen service in Porsches competing at virtually every road race venue in the United States, and many others worldwide. GT Series 1 pumps are used in race cars, club cars and street use cars. The advantage is 20% or greater oil flow resulting in increased oil pressure, both hot and cold.
