Distributor Re-Build Kit
This build kit is for Bosch ignition distributors with the number 0 231 159 007 on the side. The kit includes cap, rotor, points, springs, bushings, seals, and hardware. New cap hold-down clips are available; please see part number 901.602.965.00. Drive gears are available as well.

This kit is meant for the professional rebuilder with the tools and skills to install the bushings and ream to fit the shaft, and who has a distributor machine to set up the unit after rebuild. Severe damage may be inflicted on the ignition distributor and the engine if the distributor is improperly rebuilt, set up, or installed.  

We do not include instructions on how to rebuild distributors. If you feel you need instructions, please let us rebuild your distributor or take it to an experienced rebuilder.

We do not offer partial kits, but we do have many individual parts for Bosch and Marelli distributors used on Porsche models.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
