This part has been superseded multiple times from the original number and plug. This part replaces the original number LY158.

The original specified plug was a Champion copper electrode design, which has been discontinued. This plug from NGK matches the original Heat range, electrode stick out and resistance specifications of the original Champion spark plug. This is a non resistor spark plug, and it conforms to the original system design for total resistance values. 

All spark plugs should be gapped before installation at the following Porsche recommended specifications:

1950-62 models 356, 356A, 356B:  0.5 to 0.6 mm (.020" to .024")

 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
