Exchange Your 6 Pin Bosch CDI Box
Send your core in first. We'll send you back a rebuilt Bosch unit.
We must receive an original Bosch CDI, no aftermarket units.
For 911 SC models 1978-83 and 930 models 1978-94.

We must receive your core first; we don't use core charges. Once we've received and inspected your Bosch core, we'll send you back an original Bosch CDI box that's been internally updated with our modern digital electronics package. The unit you receive back will also be externally media blasted with all-new factory correct decals applied in the appropriate locations.

With the Porsche models that use CDI now as old as 50+ years, many issues are negatively impacting these systems today. Some cars have been fitted with aftermarket parts that don’t conform to factory standards, and Bosch has discontinued many original parts. Factory specs, knowledge, and diagnosic skills have been forgotten and abandoned. General wear and tear takes its toll over the years and decades. All of these factors contribute to CDI system failures.

Each CDI box we ship is fully tested on our proprietary testing equipment before it leaves our facility. There are however a number of installation factors, vehicle conditions, and practices that can make a CDI box appear non-functional, or that can actually damage the unit during or after installation. For this reason, we recommend that any CDI box be installed by a qualified Porsche mechanic who is truly competent with Porsche CDI ignition systems.

We stand behind our CDI boxes with a 2-year warranty on defects in materials and assembly. When purchasing any CDI box from us, you are responsible for reviewing the warranty statement and following its conditions, including practices to be avoided and issue resolution.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
