This Bosch distributor model was factory equipment on Porsche® 911S models from 1969 -71.

When you send us your distributor, it will be completely disassembled, media blasted, and polished. All new bushings, sliding surface, and shim kit are installed, along with a new spring package. New cap, rotor, points, condenser, hardware, felt dot, and seals are also fitted. The distributor is rebuilt to Porsche factory specifications, and we ensure that vertical and lateral play are within acceptable limits.

Your rebuilt distributor is then tested using our Sun distributor machine and final adjustments are made as required. Final test results / curves are printed and sent along with the restored unit. Your distributor is delivered to you ready to install and set timing.

New cap hold-down clips are also available; please see part number 901.602.965.00. New drive gears are available as well.

We will need your distributor for 4-5 weeks on average to complete the work. Actual turnaround time will depend on shop workload and on the condition of all parts in your core. Not all cores are rebuildable, and some components (including but not limited to shafts, plates, body castings) are no longer available. If your distributor is unrepairable or requires work or parts beyond the scope of this service, we will contact you.

All returns require pre-approval. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with the exception of approved warranty returns, or if we ship a different part number than ordered. We do not accept returns after 30 days.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
