Original Knecht oval wire mesh filter. This is a new genuine Porsche part. The text on the top is different than the early filters. This Knecht air filter fits the Solex P-40 II carburetor used on the 1960 356B super 90, 356C, 356SC and the 912 until 1967.  We also make an adapter plate to use the Knecht air filter on a Weber IDF.

This air filter is made of a metal mesh and may be cleaned with soap and water, letting it dry fully before use. An application of a light machine oil, or an air filter oil, will be all that is needed to keep this filter functioning.

Price shown is for one filter; you will need two for a full set. The individual parts of the filter aren't available separately. The filter doesn’t come with the thru-bolts, but we do have aftermarket bolts available if needed. See part number N.010.354.1.

Inspect your order immediately when it arrives. We must be notified within 5 days if there are any missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.

Returns (except warranty) won't be accepted if the part:
 - Has been installed, used, damaged, is dirty or incomplete
 - Is not sellable as new
 - Arrived in sealed packaging that has been opened
 - Is an electrical part, a custom or cut-to-length item, or a Special Order
 - Was purchased more than 30 days earlier

Parts must be returned properly padded in a sturdy cardboard box. Returns sent in envelopes will be refused. Items damaged in transit to us cannot be refunded. All returns must be shipped prepaid.
